August 2, 2022 To stay competitive, oil companies are investing in electric mobility. Madrid-based oil company Repsol took a step in that very direction with their carsharing service, Wible. They partnered with South Korea’s Kia motors to offer 500 plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs) in the Spanish capital and surrounding areas. The vehicles are deployed on a free-floating basis and use several of Repsol’s gasoline stations as parking, charging, and maintenance zones.
